Heroes Corrupted By 6x4 Perform Shows

Listen Up!
Yup, this entry is 2 days late. Wanna know why? So much has been going on in the past 3 days I can't put it all down at once. Also, I wanted to review some things that I haven't gotten the chance to go through entirely yet, and I don't like doing cold reviews. But that's besides the point.

WMP Project is still in the air. I haven't gotten my payment yet, and they haven't gotten the finished skin yet, even though it's been a week. Things are a bit interesting there, but I'm leaving it to them. Hey, they don't have the complete skin and they won't get any more out of me until I get paid. :: MX is a little out there right now. The IPB stopped working because of our host, and now Dan's switched boards yet again. He's got me modifying the default skin, but at least he's not asking for a complete skin overhaul. I'll get that done when I have the time. :: I'm planning on also releasing a new deviantART batch that I've scrounged together from my archives when I find time. The problem is finding time. :: More comes later.

Reeses2150's Reviews For The Intelligent Human

Heroes Season One DVD Box Set - 9.0
I, am a HUGE Heroes fan. I've been into it since they first showed the commercials for it. It was so much better than anything else out there, and I would have had the entire first season Tivo'd if I had complete control of the DVR. That being said, it's awesome that now I have all the original episodes, in their entirety, in one awesome looking box. That's great by itself, but the features let me down just a little bit. Yes, they did a lot of good things and packed way more special content than anyone else normally does into their DVD's, but I felt like they could have added a lot more. The thing that I'm not sure the makers understand is that Heroes fans, are the type of people that will never be satisfied with the amount of content you put out, they always want more. Who can blame them, Heroes is phenomenal, and noone can get enough. That being said, spending the past 3 days and nights watching the entire series from first episode to finale was awesome, and I thought all the special features were really well made, and the fact that they threw the entire score in the set is awesome too, I just feel like they could have done more to make it even more awesome. But my final word, don't let that put you off, Heroes is insanely successful for a reason, and the episodes alone are worth the $50.00, so go out and get this now if you haven't already.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - 8.8 initial
I don't like doing cold reiews and I really should wait for this one, but hey, you want the early scoop, I'll give you my review so far. I've just played through to the 3rd world, and past the second boss; so far, it's proving very interesting. I can see how the control scheme works now that I'm used to it, and I can see the advantages it has over the old scheme, but I'm still only just getting used to using the wii-mote pointed at the screen as a right analog stick for dual analog movement. The rest of the game is awesome, for the first time ever in the Metroid line, you're actually interacting with other NPC's, and there's voice in the game. I know that's small, but it shows Metroid can be more than just a dungeon game, ad some people believe it to be. Also, the fact that now you're jumping between worlds instead of just parts of one planet or a dark and light realm, awesome. So far, I am loving it, except for the control scheme. Like I said before, I'm still getting used to it and have my reservations, it's already proving a hell of a lot better than the DS touchscreen thing from Hunters. So that's just my first impressions, the control scheme is killing it a bit, but everything else is bringing it right back up to insane.

Well, my latest performance was today, but I'll talk about that in a minute. I started wondering about 6x4 recently, everyone's favorite 5 ball synch pattern, and realized that it's an "8 foot pattern" as I call it (you can do it standing up under an 8 foot ceiling) and I'm not practicing anything else right now, so I'd give it a go. I'd practiced 4x2 in the past, with the 2 as a small throw, and had gotten somewhat consistent with it, but how can you throwing a 2. Either way, I picked up all five and just tried making two sets of throws, and it worked perfectly. I said "hey, I might be able to do this", and kept going. I got the 3rd set of throws in about 10 minutes later for the first time. I flashed 6x4 within 20 minutes of deciding to work on it on Sunday. So then I keep going, practicing more, getting some successful flashes on film, and then I managed 4 sets. Now I'm pumped, but I have to go to work,so I stop and go. Monday I spent the day doing basically nothing, so I completely forgot about it.

The next day I pick it back up again before going out to get my books for college this semester. I got a few more 4 sets of throws, and managed to THROW 5 sets a few times. Nowhere near catchable though. But regardless, I head out, get my books, the Heroes box set and Metroid 3 (story and reviews above), then I come back and I spend the whole day watching Heroes, not giving 6x4 another thought. Then Wednesday comes along. I'm still watching the entire Heroes box set (23 x 45 minute episodes = 3 days of constant watching), and out of nowhere, I get the nagging feeling to practice it again. I setup the camera, because by now you never know what you'll make and when, and first try, I sloppily made all 5 sets and all 10 catches. Thing is, I hadn't done the math in me head, and I figured sine 3 sets is flashing, 6 is qualifying. I qualified 6x4 for the first time on camera and thought I hadn't done anything except better my record, like making 8 catches of 7 balls. I kept going and qualified it probably 3 more times, then stopped and did the math. Finally I realized that 5 sets of 2 throws is 10 throws, and 10 catches by the same token, and then I fell out of my chair. I spent the next 10 minutes silently celebrating, as it was about 11:30 PM and my parents are trying to sleep.

Now, onto my show. I had to wake up really early, as I needed to make copies of my flier to hand out to everyone. I haven't been up before 9:00 AM since probably Last year when I was working the morning shift at Uhaul. That's besides the point though, I go to the school, setup everything in the same place as I did one year ago, and got ready to perform what I thought was going to be two shows. Laura (my mom, and the director of the Goddard School) then asked me to see if I could setup in a different location. The place I'm performing isn't exactly the best yard to find performance spots in. There's not a lot of open grass, and the most perfect spot, which has an amphitheater like hillside is facing East, so I'm staring into the sun for all my tricks. I tried practicing in the other location, realizing that there was a mosquito hive that neither I nor the kids would enjoy, and that they'd be staring into the sun. SO I tell her I'm going to do it in the hillside. I start with the first group, do some good tricks, and that performance goes well.

Let me say what I did for this set of performances, I made it quite different than my standard one, as I'd been working on a few routines and other props that I wanted to test in front of an audience, that I really haven't noted yet anywhere, so I'll tell you about them here. First, I started with a new opening set of contact juggling, I don't really do good contact, but I can do stuff that looks cool to whoever I'm performing for. Then I went and tested out my new ring grinding routine. I normally just do the usual 2 ring grinds, and end with the 4 ring grind, I'm switching up juggling while grinding and stuff now in my new grind routine, and it went over pretty well. The next thing I'd been meaning to try is something I hadn't tried anywhere, and even thought about ever really performing anywhere. It's an act using one ball, and one soup serving spoon. The type you would find in a punch bowl or pot of soup. I found the spoon one day at Shoprite a number of months ago, and started playing around with it at home, kicking different tricks around and different ideas, nothing really coming together as spectacular or anything I thought would be anything more than filler material. It's actually a really easy act to perform, and I'll make a video of it soon, but basically it's using the spoon to throw and catch the ball in, and I'd do some stuff throwing both the ball and spoon, and you'll see.

So otherwise, it was a pretty normal act I put together, the thing is, it was somewhere around 80 degrees outside, and I was slated to perform 3 times I found out after the second one was finished. So basically, I was tired after the first, dead after the second one, and out cold after the third. I pushed through though, and it all went over well. So hopefully now I'll have some more gigs coming up int he fall, as this was my last summer one.

Actually, I just got asked to juggle at Shoprite again on Saturday as we're having a "carnival" there. So if anyone's in the Woodbridge area and am looking for me, drive down Route 1 until you hit the intersection of 35 and 1, Shoprite will be right there, and I'll be there pretty much all day after noon.

Forward To The Past!

Listen Up!
Well, it's about time. My windows Media Player project that I was hired for is now done (my part at least), and I can move on to better things that I'm NOT getting paid for, such as JoJ! :: JoJ16 is still making the rounds, and I'm debating re-recording episode 17. Chris Merra was the co-host, and neither of us seemed to be having a good day. It wasn't our worst episode, but since it's already late by a day I'm not sure whether to just scrap it or merge it with a new recording or just re--record the whole thing. I'll figure something out. :: OH! My new Juggling video is about to release! "No Sleeves Attached", my 9th major video, and the one that Adrian Pole said was the best so far. We'll see how it stacks up when it releases on the 24th. But besides that, I've just gotten more footage of great tricks and stuff, it always works that way doesn't it? At least now my youtube profile won't run dry fr the next few weeks like it did for all of the past 2 months. :: Mobius-X's forums are down yet again. All I have to say. Dan's now MSN mass chatting all of the admins and staff at MX about what we should do now to MX. Problem is, these chat sessions quickly turn into pure stupid orgies after about the first page. We'll see what happens.

Daily Life:
Shoprite was actually really low on customers the past few days I was there. Nothing really interesting happened at a-

I take that back. Sunday. I arrive at 3:00, as per my agreement with manager M----- a few days prior. And I'm scheduled to stay until 9:00. Problem is, I've got that WMP project, JoJ, and my video to work on. And on top of all that, I've just worked 8 hour shifts for the past 4 days here at Srite, thus my legs are about to collapse and my feet burn. Just another day.

What made today awesome and sucky was that it was raining, hard. I know, I love the rain, especially when it's coming down in gallons, but as soon as I go to my register and relieve the other guy, literally not 18 seconds pass, and the power goes out. Completely out. The last time this happened, I blogged about it, the machines didn't boot up for 30 minutes and then it took them 90 more minutes to work again at 100%. It wasn't like that this time. The power got killed for only about 7 seconds, and then came right back, but we were only working at half power, in the entire store. Basically to summarize things, my open light didn't work, neither did my conveyor belts, and neither did my coupon printer. Everyone else seemed to be fine, but my register had to suck.

But what was even more interesting was realizing the power was half off throughout the store. That meant the hot foods were getting cold, and all the massive refrigerators in the aisles and in the back, were only half on, so all the ice cream in the store began melting. Nothing to the point of needing to be cleaned up, but still, refrozen ice cream is one of the worst kinds, and now we have a storefull of it.

So things stay like this for basically 2 hours. Nothing is working properly, and every cold department is busy covering up everything and making sure to keep the cold things as cold as they can. Made getting at my hot pockets interesting, because they stringed shut all the freezer doors. Good times.

So then, on my lunch break, out of nowhere,t he entire Sot clan decides to roll in and hang out. Nyhus, Contini, Jimmy, Corey, and Berlew all came in and just hung out for my entire half hour lunch. What did we do? Absolutely nothing. I threw something at Nyhus though and made an awesome shot into the garbage can that noone respected. Whatever. Still, good to catch up every now and then.

The rest of the night was pretty normal, I came home completely drained and ready to fall asleep, but I had too much stuff to do, but that's a separate story and I'm too tired to tell it. I think in my next blog post I'll post a story about my home life instead of the usual Shoprite stories.

Juggle This:
I've been coming up with quite a bunch of good stuff now that I've finished editing my latest video. I came up with, and did, all of the following:
4ring full reverse synch under 8' roof.
3club 1 high 2 handspin with the high throw as a flat, then as a reverse double spin.
4ring asynch 5551 in full reverse under 8'.
a couple other things I can't remember right now.

As for shows, I have one coming up tomorrow, and another on the 30th. Good times.

A Day Like Today

Listen Up!
JoJ16 is released, finally. Sometimes I think god doesn't want me to do JoJ... :: My new WMP job is working, I think. Still working out the kinks, I'll have more details later. :: Still gathering footage for Video 9. Starting to get some good stuff. :: Nothing else to report on here.

Daily Life:
So if you hadn't read my last blog, or been a member of the meetup group, today was the day for my show at my old elementary school, followed by the NYC Diggnation Meetup. Both were awesome. So let's start with the shows.

Now, I'd planned and wanted to do a show at my old elementary school for a while now, but have never had the proper insurance to perform during the regular school year. So finally, when Camp Pace started, the school was then covered under district insurance, and I could perform. I did my standard 30 minute show, twice, and the both of them were good shows. I got a lot of hard tricks, also some of the audience participation ones, and the kids loved it. The original plan was for me to come in at 10:00 and give 2 shows back to back, and be out by 11:00. But they decided to split the shows a bit more, so it was one at 10:00 and one at noon. Gives me time to practice and go ea something.

Note to self, never go to the local Indian owned Subway again. I asked for Italian Herb and Cheese bread, they gave it to me, but neglected to put the cheese on it when they were making the bread. That's forgivable. I asked for some extra sauce on my meatball sub, because he picked out the meatballs, and there was barely any marina on it. He pulls out a tub of sauce and drops some more on. He asks if I want it toasted, I say no. I pay and begin eating, luckily inside the store. Something's off, and it's not just the bread. He put on COLD sauce. How much of an idiot do you have to be to assume that I want my sub toasted, put cold sauce on, and then when I say no, to not even put it in the microwave before I pay for it? That just made me not want it, but I was still hungry, so I told him to put it in the microwave and heat it up a bit. I ate it and left, never to return again.

But back to the performances, they were good, $100 a piece, and coupled with my paycheck from Shoprite and the other performance I performed, I just put $500 back into my bank account. Awesome.

So now I go back home and get ready for the NYC Diggnation meetup, I stocked my 3 clubs, 5 rings, and my new set of 5 illuminated balls and caught the 3:30 bus in. The first place I stopped when I got there was the bathroom, because I hadn't gone all day. After I left the bathroom and caught a cab, I then headed over to Nintendo World. I heard a rumor that if I go there, I can unlock new side-quests for Pokemon Diamond. Apparently, this is not a true rumor, but regardless, I was there, and I was having a great time. Ok, so it wasn't all that exciting, but I did get to see the museum portion, where they have a still working, half melted GB from the war. They also have every handheld system they've ever made on display there. It's cool to see some of that stuff. Otherwise, I got a new high score on the Excite Truck demo station there, tried a few other games I already own, and almost bought a vest. But regardless, it was ok overall.

The next place I headed, because I had 3 hours to kill and only spent about an hour at Nintendo World, I caught another cab to the Turtle Bay, and started walking around the block. I found my way t5o the Citigroup center, and the Barnes and Noble Bookstore inside. I found the "for Dummies" section, and found an interesting book. Podcasting for Dummies. I start reading it, for tips on how to improve JoJ, and god knows my extra hour was gone like it was 5 minutes. I buy the book, and head back over to the Turtle bay, where someone walking alongside me on the sidewalk recognized me, AWESOME! But I had to get to my thing, so I asked him to contact me on the phone, and ran to the Turtle Bay, where everyone was waiting in the downstairs lobby.

I started talking with this guy who was a member of Improv Everywhere, which I'd always been interested, but had NOWHERE near the time needed to be involved with. Either way, we started talking about podcasting, because he wanted to start his own, and I've started two. So after a long discussion of why you can't host a podcast solo and why you want to have someone else be an equal partner to help you edit and organize the cast, we headed upstairs for the show. The show started really early this time, and after the show, everyone immediately left. This gave me absolutely no chance to do what I was planning, record a video and send it to them asking them to come down for the next meetup (them being Kevin and Alex of Diggnation). Regardless though, a couple people were interested in my juggling, everyone always is. Everyone was playing with my balls, which I really enjoyed ;). Regardless though, there were actually two people there that knew how to juggle 3 balls! They weren't any good, they could just do a cascade, but still, it was enough that I could steal the cascade from them and just do some simple 2 person stuff. None on video though, but still. So as things were winding down, I started gathering footage for my video, because hey, it's what I do, I got a 66661 and a 3b 3up 360 from a shower. Very nice indeed. So I stayed up until absolutely every last person left, which was around 11:30, got a cab, waited for the 12:15 bus, got on and came back home. Another great day.

Juggle This:
I went back and tried flashing 7 balls once again, because I had just gotten an order from Dube for 3 more illuminateds and 2 more squosh bags, bringing me up to 7 bags. I actually got, on camera, and without using my body to collect, a straight 7 ball flash standing under my 8' roof. Sweet. Also, I was screwing around at both my performance and Diggnation, I got a new 5 ball string piece, a 66661, and another 3up 360 that are all going into Video 9. So wait for it. It should be done before this month is over. Otherwise, not much else in juggling news, so I'll see you next week.

Oh, and I've uploaded a crapton of new photos to facebook, so check my profile if you haven't already. Photo Albums

Another Week Bites The Dust, HEY!

Listen Up!
It never ceases to amaze me how short the half-life is on WMP skins. BASIC6 released last week, and everyone's already done with it and forgotten about it. Well, onto more things. :: I'm gathering more footage for my next music video, and it's nowhere near done, but Standard Deviation is still enjoyable. The problem is finding places that will let me juggle near me. More on that later. :: Well, I've been approached about WMP skinning. I'm not going to reveal any details, but I may have a job as a skinner in an upcoming company for application skins. More details when I have them. :: Diggnation NYC is coming up, and I will be juggling once again at the Turtle Bay, so anyone in that area, come on out on Monday night.

Daily Life:
I hate people that decide to be dicks. Ok. Monday. I'm getting ready to perform on Wednesday (that story is in the Juggle This section), and I'm looking for new performance attire and a place to practice. I need performance attire because my mom believes that I don't look like a good performer showing up in just black pants and an orange sleeveless shirt. Which is EXACTLY what Vova Galchenko performs in, blkack pants and a red sleeveless shirt. But that's besides the point. So I've decided to go with an orange t-shirt / black vest combo, to avoid from being hacky, or too circusy. So I grab my stuff, toss my 5 rings on my head (for practicing and testing the practical performance of the clothes), and head over to the Woodbridge Mall.

My first stop was Dick's Sporting Goods. Perhaps one of my favorite stores, simply because they have juggling worthy equipment, and have never bothered me before about juggling baseballs and rackets, balancing golf clubs, or spinning basketballs. I mean, why would they? They're a sporting goods store, a place where kids are trying out all the baseball bats, golf clubs, and other more dangerous things, and besides, they have a frickin' rock climbing wall that you can pay and climb in the mqain lobby of the place. That and the roof is absolutely beautiful for spotting props and it's about 50 feet high in the middle of the store. But regardless, I'm in there looking for blank shirts. Just my luck, they're having a clearance sale coupled with a 70% off sale on practically all t-shirts. I find my orange shirt, and I get it for only about 5 bucks. I am happy. After trying out some juggling in there, and buying the blank shirt, I leave into the mall section happy.

I'm now looking for a vest, I figure JC Penny's has some, as they have a formal wear section right inside the store. Figures that they actually have about 200 over coats and 400 pants, and 3 vests. So I go back into the mall and look for a formal wear store, the first one I enter is having a clearance sale, but their vests are only up to xl in the store. I run to the next one, and they have a few xxl vests. One plain black one, a purple front one (like I'm gonna wear THAT), and a red front one. I decide after trying it on and juggling in it in the store to get the black one, and it's all good. $25 for the vest, which came with bowtie, tie, and hankerchief. Eh.

So now I've got everything I need, and I've got some spare time left today, and I don't have anything planned for later, so I run to the lobby right at the Mall entrance to Dick's. This foyer has about a 40-50 foot ceiling, and is about 25' x 25', so there's plenty of room for me to juggle and even if I make a wild throw, it's not going to go anywhere near hitting anyone. I decide to try a new trick, one that I'll be hellbent on getting for a while. 744 with 5 rings. Yeah, after about all of 2 minutes, security comes over and tells me I can't do that on mall property. Ok, fine, I can see their fears about me doing it in the foyer, and they didn't force me out or anything. So I go into Dick's and continue doing it on the other side of the store where noone can see from the mall entrance. After about 20 minutes of trying 744 with rings in the middle of the store, the manager comes up and asks me to not do that in the middle of the store. Looking back, I was right in the exact center of the store, on a path about 3 feet wide right in the middle of the clearance section, and I think he was just asking me to not block people's paths in the store. I thought he was kicking me out too, so I left and got into my truck.

Now, I haven't been to the Woodbridge Community Center ever since they kicked me out for recording Tossik inside of it, mostly as protest but regardless. I decided to stop in and continue my attempts at 744, as I was getting close inside of Dick's, and the center was literally just instead of turning right at an intersection to get onto the route home, just go straight instead and you're in the parking lot. I parked, walked in, and went to the basketball courts. Not 1 minute passed before the same guy who kicked me out for RECORDING VIDEO, came in and kicked me out for NOT HAVING A MEMBERSHIP OR WRISTBAND. Turns out that to do anything inside of a COMMUNITY CENTER, you need to pay at least 5 dollars, and after that he said he probably wouldn't let me juggle. That just pissed me off. I'm never going back there again. Prepare yourself for a rant.

This community center, was built from tax dollars, and they have a United Skates, a food court, numerous vending machines, and programs there all for making money. It was built as a place where anyone can come in and do what they wanted, especially just hanging out, without getting kicked out for anything other than starting a fight or smoking. When the hell did they decide to change this and become monetary bastards? And even more than that, there was no signs on the door or anything, they just came in on me from out of nowhere. But like I said, I was walking out, not cussing or anything, but the guys in the basketball courts where I was doing my stuff were booing the guy who kicked me out, and I was saying "It's OK, I'll just go to the gymnasium at my college."

Juggle This:
So I had my performance today, and that's why this blog post is a day late. So that I could talk about it. It was at the Temple Shalom Nursery School, and it's about a half hour away off the Parkway. I haven't ever traveled the parkway past the first exit, and I forgot that we were out of loose change in the truck, so after the first toll, 70 cents, I then ran out of change, and at the 25 cent one to exit, I literally put my truck in park, got out, picked up a quarter from the ground, tossed it in the bucket and proceeded onwards. But I made it there with no problems. I'm getting better at finding places and reading directions. But besides the point.

I get to the place, and realize that I've got like 40 pounds worth of equipment to bring in with a giant prop box. Fun times. I get in though, setup, and have some practice time before the show starts. SO I try, 744 with rings. didn't get it, and I realized I was starting to make my arms tired before the show started, so I stopped and relaxed for a few minutes. Then the show begins. I start with my 5 ball WJF routine, and they're wowed with each trick. Perfect. I go down in the numbers, and finish my solo ball routine, and then I make a mistake, I bring up a volunteer 4 minutes into the show. I realize now that once you ask for a volunteer, you can't do any solo tricks for the rest of the show until the finale. Something I'll keep in mind for my next 3 performances. But either way, I went through all my stuff, it worked, it lasted for about an hour and I was tired and sore afterwards. The surprising thing is that I was losing my voice afterwards too, which I thought was strange, but not really, I was talking and shouting the entire time, so it was justified.

After the performance ended, I chatted with the director for a while, and she thought it was great. I thought it was an ok show, but would have been a lot better if I hadn't brought up volunteers so early. Regardless, I got my check, got permission to post the video on youtube, which I will do sometime later this week, and left for home. Another successful performance. The best thing about juggling as a hobby, it pays for itself.

Story Of Today

NOW AVAILABLE!

Listen Up!
BASIC 6 is done. Now to relax, but oh wait! My next juggling video is overdue! I love my life...
Actually, I have to work on JoJ still, my next juggling video (still deciding name), and I still have to work on my juggling performance routine. Otherwise, I'm finally free of many things.

Daily Life:
Ok, I know I haven't given you a good Shoprite story for the past 3 weeks, so here's one for ya. I come in today, ready to do anything. I know I'm scheduled from 4:00 to some time later, but I honestly never really know or remember until I check the schedule. I look and see I'm doing a full pull, 8 hours, 4:00 to midnight. I've done this shift before and it is literally the absolute worst shift in history. So I grab a till, a Mountain Dew, my personal fan, and out to the registers, where they tell me I'm going to be refilling the plastic bags onto all of the registers. I've said how fun this job is before, filling the plastic bags, but it's better than being on register. It is one hell of a way to start an 8 hour shift though, so I take my time with it. The interesting thing is how fast they get depleted, I had literally stocked the registers to capacity (7 boxes of bags, each box containing 24 packets of bags, with 100 bags per packet) not 2 days ago, and they are now completely depleted. So I go take 2 hours and do everyone at a comfortable pace that won't work me over or get my adrenaline going so that I can survive the rest of the 6 hours.

I finish that, and they tell me to go on my lunch break. So I go do that. I don't eat anything though, because I wasn't hungry, and I don't know why I didn't eat anything, but that's besides the point. I play Pokemon some more, go back to the registers and am put on register 14 for a while. I realized while I was there that I just took my lunch break, and now had 6 hours of work with only one break of 15 minutes to look forward to. Fun times. So the first 3 hours were pretty uneventful, and in fact, I never even left the register. Then my break comes and I'm starved, because now it's 9:00 and I haven't eaten anything since around 2:00. I grab my food and eat as fast as usual on my normal 15 minute break, and I have no time to relax left over as usual. Would've been nice, but no, I had to squander my lunch break 3 hours prior. Again, fun times.

I come back to the front yet again, and by now, it's time to take all the garbage and cardboard to the back, which is a welcome chance to relax for a minute or two. I come back and am immediately thrust onto register 7 as one of the 4 remaining cashiers. I now have 2 and a half hours to spend as one of four open registers, and withing the next hour, it goes from four to one. I hadn't been the only open register since Christmas Eve of 2005. Again, fun times. Luckily I'm in a happy mood tonight thanks to the Mountain Dew I had earlier.

Basically, the rest of the night consisted of me juggling dividers during the breaks between customers, dealing with the midnight coupon hoarders(which make the daytime coupon hoarders look like casual customers), and explaining to customers why I am the only register open besides self checkout. I'm so tired from it, I don't even want to talk about it anymore.

Oh, but before I stop my rant/story of today, I have to say that i planned on releasing BASIC 6 earlier before I went to work, but because DeviantART was being a bitch to me at 3:00, I couldn't upload it, and was basically left to release it late when I got hoe not 3 hours ago.

Juggle This:
It's amazing, a full week and a half later, and JoJ14 is still getting hits! It's at over 500 on youtube alone, not to mention the 75 from minorcrisis and the 160 from juggling.tv Easily the most successful episode yet, and the most hated. But besides episode 14, #15 was released, and has gotten very good responses. A lot of people think it's the best episode yet, and I think that's due to Matt Hall. It kind of helps to have been a teacher and have years of experience in lecturing and public speaking. Ah, it's a great episode regardless. I am definitely going to have him on again at some point in the future.

Otherwise, I have 4 performances coming up this month at $100 a piece. So that's 400 bucks, that's actually more than I make most months working at Shoprite! I'm going to go buy myself some new clubs! I'm thinking about my routine still, I've practiced it a few times and have a general idea as to how it'll play out, but none of the specific things are really set, and that's what I'm going to have some problems on. I've got a week before my first performance, so I have time to finish working on these things.

Oh, and by the way, I found the ONLY picture taken of Peden Tower at WJF4 at it's 5 level incarnation. It's over there on the left. Thanks to Nick Jantz for catching it before it came crashing to the ground 10 seconds later.
